How does the free trial work?
You get 7 days of full access to today's pick, the ranked thirty, and the recipe archive. Cancel before the trial ends and you're never charged. After the trial, your membership renews automatically at the plan price you chose until you cancel.
Will I be charged automatically?
After the 7-day trial, the membership renews automatically at your chosen plan's price. We email you before renewal, and you can cancel anytime from your account in a couple of clicks.
What if I don't like it — can I get a refund?
Beyond the free trial, we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first paid charge. Email [email protected] and we'll sort it out, no interrogation.
Is my payment information secure?
Checkout runs over an encrypted (SSL) connection and we never store raw card details on our own servers. Until our payment provider is fully connected, the checkout button shows a clear setup notice rather than taking a payment.
How the selection works
How is the daily selection chosen?
A small human team — led by founder Sona Reinhardt — watches and cooks through new videos each morning, then ranks one #1 and a thirty behind it based on how useful each is on a real weeknight. No algorithm decides for you.
When does the ranking refresh?
Every day at 00:00 in your device's local timezone. The on-page countdown shows exactly how long until the next refresh.
Does the same video stay #1 forever?
No. The #1 and the full ranked thirty are re-chosen every single morning, so there's always a fresh reason to come back and cook something new.
Devices & access
What devices can I watch on?
Sona is a web video site that works in any modern browser on desktop, tablet, and phone. We don't currently offer a native mobile app, smart-TV app, or offline downloads, and we won't claim features we haven't built.
Can I download videos to watch offline?
Not at the moment. Sona is web-based streaming only. We'd rather be honest about that than advertise offline downloads we don't support yet.
Can I share my account?
A membership is intended for one household. We keep prices low by keeping sharing reasonable; heavy account sharing across many people isn't supported.
